Sharron and Michael

I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for Sharron and Michael yesterday.  They had a lovely service in Nashua at the SAINT LOUIS DE GONZAGUE Church and the reception was at the Bedford Village Inn.  They were a lovely couple and I wish them the best of luck in the future.  (I may have even got another wedding out of it.)

I got the gig from A Good Time DJ Company.  We are working out a kind of partnership were we share leads back and forth.  The DJ George was not afraid to actually get out on the dance floor and get people to start dancing, getting more people to dance.  So if you are looking for a DJ, give them a call and use my name.

I will be uploading them to pictage in the next week or two.

Daniel Doke/ Pictage User Group

Last night I wend to a Pictage User Group Meeting at CDIA.  They featured speaker was wedding photographer Daniel Doke.  This guy was fantastic.  I learned so much from him and got great inspiration.  I was worried that my self diagnosed ADHD would interfer with my photography but it turns out Dan has the same issues.  (he is also a little shy like my self.)

One thing he talked about, which is a new term, is depth of light.  It is kind of like depth of field but instead of focus it is all about light.  He also talked about playing with the white balance to give his images his own look.  I am going to take to heart some of the things that he talked about and try it with my own take on it.

Pictage

I am a member of pictage now!   I am not going to renew my exposuremanager.  (No enough bells and wistles)  I am uploading my sample gallery as I type.  One that is done, I will get my sample gallery.
