Last 2 weeks

I have been very busy the last two weeks.  The Friday after Thanksgiving, I went to my 20th high school reunion.  (SIC)  I saw a lot of old classmates.  It was nice.  I am happy to make some old contacts!

My family came over for brunch the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Saturday I went into Boston and took some pictures.  Here is a couple of my favorites.

The custom house picture above is something that I took back in July 2006 and wanted to retake the same image.  I am happy with the results.  (It took me forever to find the exact spot I took the original.)

That afternoon, we went to the local shelter to get my daughter Carin use to the idea of getting a doggie. Carin is scared of dogs b/c when she was little, a small dog jumped up on her and licked her all over her face.  (She loved dogs until that point.)   Needless to say, we did not purchase a dog, put we purchased a cat.  He is black and white.

Carin named him Kevin after one of the signers from the Jonas Brothers.  I wanted to name him Scratchy from the Simpson's but no one agreed with me.  Kevin is still getting use to the house and us.

This morning

This morning I woke up earlyand went you and took some pictures.  This was the first time sence my vacation in August that I was able to take "personal" pictures. I had every intention of going to the main cemetery in Peabody but the gates were still locked.  So I ended up going to a small cemetery around the corner from my house.

To quote the character Jack Torrance from the movie The Shinning, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."   Or Homer from the Simpson's in the episode Treehouse of Horror V, " No TV And No Beer Make Homer Go Crazy.  (Yes I am a fan of the Simpson's.)  Here is a picture from my wedding cake 10 years ago.  (10 years on Friday November 14th)

My wife Tiffany has been a great deciding force in my decision in following my passion of  photography. I am so happy that she has been a part of my life over the last 10 years.  (10 years of marriage and 11 months of dating.)  I cannot forget my daughter Carin.  Her happy spirit puts a smile on my face.

I now know I need to schedule these little breaks from the ordinary.

I will post images shortly. (I am still edit images from my last wedding.)
